Getting Started
This is it! It's time. Are you ready? Let's go!
Before you begin, there are just a few things we need to set up.
Step 1: Connect Your Data
You need to connect your Data source. Here's how:
- Click on the Manage or Create Datasets icon or the Data menu to reach the Data Sources page
- Click the ADD NEW DATASET button at the top right
- For speed, let's use a Google Sheet. Make sure your sheet sharing is set to "anyone with link"
- Paste in the URL and click NEXT
- Now you'll see all your data. Easy, right?
Step 2: Upload Your Logo (Optional)
Want to layer your company logo in your templates? Here's how:
- From your Dashboard, click the Company Setup button
- Click Choose File to upload your logo
- Important: Your logo must be a PNG file with a transparent background
Step 3: Create Your First Playlist
Finally, you're ready to create! Here's the fun part:
- From your Dashboard, click Manage or Create Playlists
- Click the Add New Playlist button at the top right
- Choose a template from the selection (Can't see what you want? Contact sales@frameweave.com for a custom template!)
- Now make it your own:
- Playlist Name: Change it to something meaningful
- MRSS Feed: Copy and paste into your CMS of choice (or use our automatic integration if available)
- Content Items: Select which products you want to create videos for
- Template Options: Pick orientation, set font styles, and choose color schemes
- Click Save and hey presto—we'll create those videos and add them to your feed!
What Happens Next?
Now that you have a playlist of videos, Frame Weave works automatically:
- If your data changes (e.g., a price update), we'll automatically create a new video to replace the old one
- If you set a data item as out of stock or disabled, we'll automatically remove it from your CMS or MRSS feed
Now it's time for you to play! Have fun!
Remember, if you need help, Weave got you covered!
